Fiona Lipscombe

I’m a qualified and experienced Primary School teacher, now focusing on at-home and online tutoring and supporting homeschooled children. Lessons are fun, engaging and tailor made to your child’s needs using lots of discussion, games, outdoor learning and visual and creative ways to ensure successful and positive outcomes. I encourage children to be independent learners, resilient and to persevere with challenging tasks and to have a positive learning outlook. I can teach all subjects within the Primary National Curriculum to Key Stage 1 and 2 across all ages and abilities. I have extensive experience teaching SEND children and “reluctant” students both in primary and secondary schools. I also successfully support children to get through SATS. I have specialised in teaching Handwriting and Creative Writing and my students have without fail made great progress and enjoyed their lessons.
